I have had an idea for sometime now that Periscopes, my chapbook of fiction, would not be coming out as planned, but I figured I’d wait until I was sure before I said anything. However, yes, it is fact, Periscopes is at best postponed for sometime for a myriad of reasons. Money. Time. Energy. Effort. The list goes…
Bottom line is right now: I would rather focus on bringing my loyal readers new writing over at RAGAD. I would rather host readings and such. I would rather be able to eat and pay for things as well. The project still might happen in the near future though, so don’t write it off just yet, but I highly doubt, unless a publisher of chapbooks who happens to be reading this blog feels like talking with me, that Periscopes will see daylight in 2007. Let’s shoot for 2008, shall we?
I would just like to say thank you to the following people who’ve said wonderful things about the chapbook and my writing in general, and I hope your lovely little bits do not die in vain. With many thanks: Richard Grayson, Mike Young, Mike Smith, Jason Jordan, Joshua Clark, and Corey Mesler. Thank you all.
